About Queen of the Land Festival
The Queen of the Land Festival is an annual 3-day event in County Offaly, hosted by Offaly Macra na Feirme, in which young women compete for the title of “Queen of the Land” based on their appearance, personality, energy, confidence, rural knowledge and eloquence.
The Queen of the Land Festival is the highlight of the Macra na Feirme calendar each year, drawing crowds from all over the country in support of their local ladies. Approximately 2,000 people come to Tullamore for this Festival each year and we believe that with your support, this figure can only grow.
In 2019, the festival will celebrate 55 years in existence! The Festival aims to celebrate the talents and achievements of the young women of Macra na Feirme, while also entertaining the masses. This year we will see a superb line-up of entertainment, to ensure those attending will not be disappointed. This year, we will have music which will be announced over the coming months in the run up to the festival!
