Comeraghs Wild Festival

The rugged, unspoilt Comeragh Mountains and the adjacent coastal hinterland around the stunning Waterford Greenway will be a hive of outdoor activity and fun from July 10th to 13th 2025 as the Comeraghs Wild Festival gets underway for yet another year. The Comeraghs Wild Festival returns this July with four days of music, nature, storytelling and local culture spread across the Comeragh Mountains. With the theme ‘Nostalgias’, the 2025 programme offers a blend of family fun and community celebration, from woodland adventures to open-air concerts. Families can enjoy children’s craft camps in Crough Wood, outdoor yoga, felting workshops and surf lessons in Bunmahon. There’s plenty more on offer too — hop aboard the Waterford Suir Valley Railway to meet Honey and Barry Bear, join a treasure hunt or catch a magic show before your train journey. On Saturday, the From Hill to Grill BBQ at Cooney’s Yard offers local food, storytelling and music in a relaxed outdoor setting.
