Anxiety, bullying, resilience building and everything in between..... The challenges facing our young people and how we as parents can help. This parent seminar will take a common sense approach to the complexities of so many concerns facing our young people today. The talk aimed at primary & post primary children will look at why our children are more anxious than ever, why they are less resilient and what we, as parents can do about it. We will address everyday day issues like bullying, friendship, dynamics and how to understand and navigate the myriad of challenges we are faced as parents. She has spent the last 16 years working in schools and universities and has trained extensively in the field of bullying, including conflict resolution and special studies with Kidscape in the UK in their highly successful anti bullying programme ZAP. In 2014 she won an award from Social Entrepreneurs Ireland for her development of MyLife – a highly effective approach for dealing with bullying.
