Dinosaurs Around the World

Dinosaurs Around the World will transport you into the era of the dinosaur for a tour of an Earth very different from today. Temple Bar TradFest 

The festival has grown to over 200 events over 5 days. The Ark will be home to some fun family events includeing an Children's Open Trad Session, Give Trad a Try and Socks in the Frying Pan, a gig for children of all ages. 

ChildVision, Ireland’s Education Centre for Blind Children, will also be packing up their cuddly and friendliest pets from their petting zoo and bringing them into Temple Bar for the family festival and there will be a family céili in the National Wax Museum Plus on Westmoreland Street.

Croke Park Stadium Tour

If you wear your GAA county, club or Cúl camp jersey you get half price admission to the Croke Park Stadium Tour during the month of January.

Walk in the footsteps of legends on this guided tour, as you visit the team dressing rooms, warm-up areas and media centre before going pitch-side via the players' tunnel and taking a seat in the VIP area. The Stadium Tour also includes admission to the GAA Museum.

Out To Lunch Arts Festival

The first festival of the year finishes in Belfast this weekend with live music in The Black Box and The Empire.

Brickx-Fest 2018

The Brickx Club is a creative brick building and social activity club for girls and boys. Brickx-Fest 2018 takes place in The Lodge Restaurant at Tayto Park on January 27th & 28th 2018 from 9am - 5pm.

Ballincollig Winter Music Festival

The ninth year Ballincollig Winter Music Festival returns next week with a mix of live music featuring popular local and international acts, numerous Trad sessions and music workshops.

Glen of Aherlow Walking Festival

The 2018 Glen of Aherlow Winter Walking Festival will take place over the weekend, January 27th and 28th. The event will feature A, B and C walks on Saturday and B and C walks on Sunday. There will also be a Welcome Evening at Aherlow House Hotel on Friday and a Festival Dinner o Saturday night.

Vintage, Classic & Sports Car Show

The 24th annual Vintage, Classic and Sports Car Show returns to the Slieve Donard Resort & Spa this weekend. There will be vehicles spanning sixty years of automotive history and all proceeds to Cancer Research UK.

National Musuem of Ireland | Country Life

Join the members of the Museum's education team to learn more about St. Brigid and to make your very own St Brigid's Cross on Sunday afternoon. The event is free, no booking is requred and is suitable for children from seven plus.

National Botanic Gardens | Build a Bird Feeder

A fun kids workshop where we will be making bird feeders to help our feathered friends during the cold winter months. Be sure to wear old clothes since we may be making a mess.  Booking required.

Banjo & Bovril Music Festival

The 4th Banjo & Bovril Festival takes place over the weekend in Bray. A hat-tip to the traditions of local fisherman, music will be provide by David Kitt, The Pale and Paddy Casey and there will be free Ukulele lessons for all the family on Sunday afternoon followed by a performance by The Harbour Ukuleles.
