It’s the last weekend before Christmas and most of us are still rushing around trying to tick off our to-do lists.

However, it’s also the perfect time to pause and enjoy some festive fun with your loved ones. After all, creating special memories is part of the joys of Christmas.

To help you make the most of your downtime, we’ve rounded up some exciting activities to enjoy with family and friends this weekend.

Santa at The Ark Playcentre, Puddenhill
The Ark Playcentre | December 21st & 22nd, 2024

Families can start their visit by exploring the animal farm and viewing the charming crib. Children can then enjoy some playtime—either outside (weather permitting) or indoors in the cosy play center. While you wait for your family’s turn to meet Santa, you can relax with a selection of hot and cold food, along with tea and coffee.

In the grotto, the magic truly begins! Kids will meet the elves in their workshop, discover where they sleep, and even take home some reindeer food. The experience continues with a friendly chat with Mrs. Claus before the grand finale—a visit with Santa himself!

Cosy up this weekend for a festive Christmas movie screening—right from the comfort of your car! Bring your PJs, pillows, and even a duvet for the ultimate snug experience. This week’s feature is Elf (or rather, Buddy, who’s technically not an elf) as he embarks on a heartwarming journey to New York in search of his biological father.

What makes it even more special? Proceeds from the 3pm showing on Sunday will support Eve’s Dream To Walk.
