About Aistear Park
Situated in the centre of the village of Mountshannon, between the main street and the harbour.
This 4.5 acre unique park includes a maze incorporating timber, stone and foliage which takes the visitor through an informative exploration of Irish Spirituality over 9000 years. Experience your inner journey through walking the Aistear Labyrinth.
A designated Children’s Playground area with swings, slides and climbing frames is located within the park along with a separate area containing outdoor Exercise Machines for the adult.
Seating and picnic area along with an outdoor library called the “Wee Library” can be enjoyed at your leisure.
Numerous events and activities are showcased in the park throughout the year. A Tourist Information Office is located in the centre of the park which is opened for the summer season
