Celebrate 30 years of the National Print Museum at The BIG Type Festival with a free Community Day packed with creative activities for all ages.
Watch live printing demonstrations, have a go at traditional letterpress printing, discover bookbinding and papermaking, and meet the talented makers who continue these traditional crafts.
Children and adults can get involved in hands-on workshops and take home a personalised letterpress keepsake created with modern calligraphy. With plenty to see, make and discover throughout the afternoon, it's a great opportunity to experience the fascinating world of print in a fun and interactive way.
The Community Day takes place on Sunday 6 September from 12pm to 4pm. Entry is free, no booking is required and everyone is welcome.
