Can you hear those sleigh bells jingling and ring tingle tingling? That's Santa on his way to town for a quick visit before the Christmas rush.
We have our Christmas markets happening on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December in The Diamond, Monaghan town centre from 11am - 6pm each day and they are free to wander around. There are plenty of cutesy little stalls with a variety of offerings to get you in the Christmas mood and maybe pick up a nice little prezzie for someone (or yourself)! There will also be plenty going on to keep the kids entertained. The pièce de résistance being the chance to pay a visit to Santa and Mrs. Claus in the grotto. Tickets for the grotto are €15 per person. Each child will receive an early Christmas present from Santa and there is mulled wine and cookies for the grown ups. All the proceeds go directly to Crocus Cancer Support Centre in Monaghan. This is a vital service that provides essential support and solace to people in their time of need. We really hope to see you there!
