SHAKEFEST IS BACK AT CHARLEVILLE CASTLE!
In its 18th year, we have come through the pandemic and look forward to seeing all of you again at this magnificent venue.
No matter what size or what's on, you'll be guaranteed to have an amazingly cultural and creative experience every year.
Once again at Charleville Castle, Tullamore, we are offering some energetic and creative all ages workshops and our usual colourful and eclectic Evening Hafla of cultural entertainment on Saturday, May 27th and Sunday, May 28th!
Here's our initial programme for Saturday:
CASTLE FORECOURT - all ages (weather permitting or Ballroom) Jabba Jabba Jembe African Drum Circle for all ages and families 6-7pm Animation Projection Show by Caroline Conway 10:30pm
CASTLE BALLROOM 7:30-10pm Shakefest Hafla incl. variety of cultural acts and Guest Cultural Dance Performer Dr. Subha Godo (Indian Classical Dance) Animation Projections by Finn Nichol (RDS Taylor Award Winner 2021)
Programme for Sunday:
BALLROOM Hip Hop with Bubble Lock Kids 1-2pm €7.50 Adults and Teens 2:30-3:30pm €10
CASTLE COURTYARD Abstract Painting Workshops Kids 6-12 workshop: 4-5:30pm €8 *** max. capacity is 12 participants in paint workshop so book ASAP to avoid disappointment!
