Discovery Santry Day

Discover Santry Day returns with a packed programme of family activities, local history, sports and live entertainment celebrating one of Dublin’s best-known communities. The free community festival offers something for all ages, with GAA mini games, children’s activities, face painting, balloon making, live music and entertainment throughout the day.
Visitors can also take part in guided history walks, explore local landmarks, enjoy tours of Morton Stadium and learn more about Santry’s rich heritage through talks and historical presentations. The day concludes with traditional music and ballads, creating a lively atmosphere for families and local residents
Newgrange Farm

Newgrange Farm combines farm animals, outdoor play and family activities in a relaxed countryside setting close to Drogheda. Children can meet lambs, calves, puppies, chicks and ponies, with opportunities to feed and interact with many of the animals throughout the day.
There is also plenty of space to play, including sandpits, toy tractors, go-karts, mazes and dedicated play areas for younger children. Families can relax in the picnic areas or café, while tractor trailer rides add to the fun on selected days.
Killarney Home & Garden Festival

The Killarney Home & Garden Festival returns to Killarney Racecourse this weekend, bringing together gardening, home inspiration, food and family entertainment for a weekend packed with ideas and activities. With more than 100 exhibitors, visitors can browse plants, garden features, home improvement products, artisan crafts and local produce throughout the festival.
Families can enjoy a dedicated children’s entertainment zone with inflatables, balloon art and family activities while adults explore the farmers market, food village, gardening displays and outdoor living exhibits.
My Father's Dragon

Step into the world of Cartoon Saloon’s acclaimed film My Father’s Dragon at this free family exhibition at The Ark in Temple Bar. Marlhill Open Farm

Marlhill Open Farm offers a full family day out this summer, with animal encounters, indoor and outdoor play areas and plenty of activities for younger children to enjoy. Families can meet donkeys, goats, rabbits, lambs, piglets and calves, alongside a range of birds and friendly farm animals around the farm.
Children can also enjoy pedal go-karts, climbing frames, mini diggers, sandpits, playgrounds and the popular quad-pulled barrel train, while parents can relax in the on-site café serving coffee, homemade treats and family favourites.
Taste of Dublin

Taste of Dublin returns to Merrion Square this weekend for four days of food, entertainment and summer festival atmosphere in the heart of the city. While best known for its restaurants and chef demonstrations, the event also features live music, interactive experiences, artisan producers and plenty of outdoor space to relax with family and friends.
Visitors can sample dishes from some of Dublin’s leading restaurants, watch live cooking demonstrations, explore food and drink experiences and enjoy entertainment throughout eight festival sessions across the weekend.
