Yarn Storytelling Festival

YARN Storytelling Festival returns to Bray with an enchanting opening weekend of stories for all ages. Join Sinéad O’Brien at Ballywaltrim Library on Saturday morning for Family Storytelling, then gather by the fireside in The Shoot Room at Killruddery for a magical afternoon with Zakia Elyoubi from Morocco. Across the weekend, the festival brings a vibrant mix of music, workshops and performances to celebrate the art of storytelling in every form.
Space Fest

SpaceFest lifts off this weekend with a packed programme of art, science and spectacle across Cork city and county. Highlights include the Lunar Distance exhibition at Marina Market and Beyond the Visible at Blackrock Castle Observatory. On Sunday, spectacle makers Macnas make their Cork debut with a dazzling performance of drummers, stilt walkers and giant puppets telling the story of Ireland’s disappearing corncrake.
Let's Talk Science Festival

The Let’s Talk Science Festival returns to the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun this Saturday, marking ten years of science, curiosity and fun. This special anniversary edition promises a full day of family-friendly STEM activities with interactive stands, live demonstrations and hands-on experiments for all ages.
Visitors can meet real scientists and explore exhibits from groups including Circus Science, Marine Institute, Met Éireann, Bat Conservation Ireland, Our Kids Code and Airfield. Wild Lights

Wild Lights returns to Dublin Zoo with its most dazzling theme yet, The Wild Kaleidoscope. Visitors can wander through 13 illuminated zones bursting with colour, celebrating the vibrant ways animals use it to survive, communicate and attract attention in the wild.
Expect glowing flamingos, shimmering peacocks, playful penguins and enchanting red pandas among radiant lanterns, including the largest ever featured at Wild Lights. This breathtaking night-time spectacle promises a magical experience for all ages and a highlight of Dublin’s winter season.
Ireland Card Show
