Now in its 20th year, Culture Night returns with free late-night tours, performances and creative experiences across Ireland. Families can enjoy behind-the-scenes visits, live music, art trails and special events in Dublin, Galway, Cork and beyond – all supported by the Arts Council and local authorities.
Play Centre Opening
Cork | 20th & 21st, September, 2025
Following their successful grand opening last weekend, Happy Days Charleville is now open for party and play. Children aged 2–10 can explore slides, climbing zones and soft play while parents relax in the on-site café. Happy Out is also home to an exciting party zone, where birthday celebrations mean two hours of non-stop fun. Children can play, explore and burn energy with friends while enjoying a hot food menu that keeps everyone fuelled for the action.
Labubu Brunch
Dublin | 20th & 21st, September, 2025
Labubu fans are in for a treat with this themed brunch at Kidspace Rathfarnham on Saturday morning and Kidspace Rathcoole on Sunday morning. Expect sweet pancake stacks, music, movement and special photo moments with a friendly Labubu. There’ll also be time to show off collections and connect with fellow fans. The event is designed for children up to age 10 and includes active playtime in a relaxed family-friendly setting.

Enjoy a brilliant family day out at W5 for just £8 per person this September. With eight interactive zones and over 250 hands-on exhibits, there’s plenty to explore – from giant operating tables and rocket launches to creative play on the Graffiti Wall and Climbit. Weekends bring even more fun with the return of Dinosaurs Survive and Puffin Rock Summer, featuring story time, sketch sessions, and meet-and-greets with Oona the puffin.
Clifden Arts Festival

From street performances to fairy trails, Clifden’s first festival weekend is packed with free family fun. Friday’s Culture Night Fayre brings DJs, circus acts and photo booths to The Square, while Saturday offers quick caricatures at Flash Box and young local talent at Tiny Mutiny. On Sunday, little ones can follow the Elf and Fairy Trail, spotting magical creatures and leaving messages along the way.
Creative Waste Reuse Workshop

The Rediscovery Centre has created another fun, hands-on arts & crafts workshop! Children aged 6 to 12 will turn waste materials - like fabric, cardboard and sweet wrappers into creative treasures. PPerfect for young makers with big imaginations who want to craft sustainably while having fun!
