Animation Dingle

Animation Dingle returns for its 13th edition with a packed programme of screenings, workshops, awards and talks. Hosted in the heart of Dingle, the festival once again welcomes industry leaders, students and creatives from across the globe, with representatives from Disney, Netflix, Nickelodeon and the BBC.
Workshops and talks will offer insights into the craft, with sessions including stop-motion fabrication with Georgina Hayns and life drawing with Aardman’s Peter Lord. The annual Animation Dingle Art Auction returns in support of UNICEF, following last year’s success in raising €40,000. This year’s programme includes screenings of Oscar-nominated animated shorts and feature films such as Memoir of a Snail, Chicken for Linda and a FREE family screening of Kensuke’s Kingdom starring Cillian Murphy on Saturday afternoon.
Craft Your Own Bookmark

This Saturday, a special craft event invites visitors to Create Your Own Bookmark, inspired by Dublinia’s stunning stained-glass windows. Guided by living historians, participants can design a unique bookmark and inscribe their initials in medieval script. Running from 11am to 4pm, this hands-on activity is included with admission and open to all ages. With immersive storytelling and interactive displays, Dublinia offers a fascinating journey into Dublin’s past.
Family Yoga & Mindfulness Afternoon

This session offers a chance to step away from screens and take part in a shared experience of movement, balance and calm. Led by Aoife Moore, who has over 20 years of experience working with children, the class encourages simple yoga, partner poses and gentle mindfulness exercises in a warm and welcoming space.
The session finishes with a cosy relaxation, where parents and children can unwind together under blankets. No prior yoga experience is needed, just a willingness to take part. Colours Boat Race
