About The Ark Open Farm
At The Ark Open Farm there are lots of baby animals to cuddle, pony rides for all ages, lambs & kid goats to bottle feed, hand feeding chicks at any time, rabbits & guinea pigs to cuddle.
There is also an indoor play area with pedal ride on tractors, diggers and dumpers and an outdoor adventure play area, picnic sites and the cottage cafe/restaurant serving genuine home cooked food.
- Paddy pony rides for children up to the age of 5 years old
- Murphy pony rides for children 6 years and over
- Pony rides are seasonal and weather dependant
- Newly refurbished outdoor play area with play equipment for all ages

Great new activity for visitors to get up close to see the goats having fun on their mountain and eating food of everyone's hands!
Great indoor play area with ride on tractors and diggers, and also a slide so on those wet days you can still have great fun on the farm!
Big Green Barn for lots of interaction, education and hands on time with the animals.
Our Creepy Crawly Loft full of reptiles, minibeasts and some cuddly animals to so children can get up close with something a bit different and see animals they may have never seen before.
Bring bread to the farm and walk onto the duck pond decking to feed all out geese, ducks and swans. There are always chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs to have a hands on with.
Take a walk round our nature trail to see our herds of cows and sheep in our fields then relax for a picnic in the Woodland Walk area.
Have a go at milking our pretend cow in the Big Green Barn!
