Paranormal Night | Scarefest Carlow

Spend Halloween night taking part in a real paranormal investigation with Barry Fitzgerald from Ghost Hunters International fame.

Barry will brief all in attendance on the paranormal and speak about some of his own experiences before leading a real investigation in the grounds of Duckett's Grove.

Following the investigation there will be a Q&A session where you will get to ask your own questions.

With help from the Carlow Paranormal Society and Cormac Strain, founder of Leinster Paranormal, Barry will recount his experiences with the paranormal before embarking on an actual investigation with those present in the magnificent ruins of Duckett's Grove, Carlow, one of the most haunted buildings in Ireland!

October nights can be extremely cold in Carlow so please wrap up.

A lot of the locations you will be investigating on the night will be outdoors. Appropriate footwear must also be worn.

Members of the public are encouraged to bring their own torches, cameras, video cameras etc.

Please note that Scarefest will be recording on the night and you will need to sign a consent form before the investigation starts. Any paranormal footage captured during the event by our cameras, will be available to those partaking in the investigations but may also be used by Scarefest for future promotion..

*It is important to note that due to the nature of the paranormal, we cannot guarantee you will see, hear or experience anything on the night, however we will try our best! This is not a scare event. There are no actors hiding to jump out at you. This is a genuine paranormal investigation.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes. You must be 18 years old

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Duckett's Grove is located around 10mins from Carlow Town by Car. No public transport is available. Free on-site parking will be provided at your own risk

What's the refund policy?

Tickets purchased are non-refundable and non-transferrable. In exceptional circumstances, the organizers may be able to facilitate you provided they are given enough notice

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. All you need is your booking confirmation email

Can I bring alcohol into the event?

No. Alcohol is not permitted. People who turn up under the influence of alcohol may be asked to leave without reimbursement. Security will be on site at all times. The organizers also reserve the right to refuse admission at any time to anyone deemed to be causing a nuis
