This June Bank Holiday, Saturday 3rd – Monday 5th June, North Wall Quay will once again play host to the Dublin Port Riverfest.

#Riverfest2017 will be activating the River Liffey from the Sean O’Casey bridge, along North Wall Quay right through to Dublin Port and into Dublin Bay, with a wide variety of thrilling performances, exciting activities and events!

ThunderCat Racing will be headlining the event with their first ever Dublin performance! ThunderCat Racing is one of the world’s most exhilarating water sports (boats can be seen to fly up to 6m in the air!) and has mass appeal to all ages offering great year round entertainment.

Thousands of spectators now follow Thundercat Racing, which is positioning itself as one of the most prominent water sports of the twenty-first century. The Thundercats will be racing four times daily as headliners of #Riverfest2017. 

On the water, activities will include river ferries and cruises, boat tours of Dublin Port and Dublin Bay, ‘Try Sailing’ sessions on both sailing dinghies and keelboats, Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) sessions and Kayaking trips.

The Jeanie Johnston will once again be offering free tours over the course of the weekend, along with seven other stunning Tall Ships. 

There will also be a jam-packed schedule of on the water displays and entertainment in the festival area including; ThunderCats Racing, international Tall Ships, Jet Pack displays, sailing races, powerboat displays and much more!

Not to be outdone by the water, land activities will also play an integral part to the festival. There will be multiple Family Zones with FREE activities such as Zip Lines, Rock Climbing, Street Performers, Music, Fun Fair attractions, Face Painting, Pirate re-enactments and children’s Art & Circus workshops.

Customs officers will be on hand all day at #Riverfest2017 with their cutter on view and they will also be carrying out sniffer dog demonstrations. 

Irish Village Markets will deliver an open-air food and craft market, supplying a diverse and delicious range of international street food to delight all you foodies! 

The Dublin Port Riverfest returns this year from Saturday 3rd – Monday 5th of June, 12:00pm – 6:00pm daily.
