Science Week 2025 marks a major milestone as Ireland’s national celebration of discovery turns 30. Managed by Research Ireland, this year’s festival runs from 10–16 November with the theme Then. Today. Tomorrow. — a reflection on how science has evolved over the decades and how it continues to shape the world around us.
Over the weekend of 14–16 November, families and science enthusiasts can enjoy an exciting nationwide line-up of events, from the awe-inspiring Museum of the Moon installation in Dublin’s Merrion Square to Circus Science by the Sea on Achill Island. Workshops, lectures and creative performances will explore everything from AI and climate change to space, nature and art.
As Science Week celebrates thirty years of sparking curiosity, this year’s programme invites everyone to imagine the future through the lens of discovery and innovation — inspiring the next generation to ask questions, experiment and dream big.
