Did you know that the way you talk, play, engage and interact with your child really matters? EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum is delighted to welcome back ChatterKids for this adorable Irish language themed workshop as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge! Perfect for ages 15 – 36 months and suitable for complete beginners, you don’t have to know any Irish to take part.
It’s often said that the Irish have the gift of the gab, and some incredibly talented Irish people have made their mark in the world just by talking! In this workshop with ChatterKids, we’ll explore language development and encourage your child to get chatty through a series of fun interactive games and songs, including introducing them to some fun Irish words and phrases!
Taught by registered speech and language therapist Katia Klymenko Lacey, M.H.Sc., S-LP©, come along to learn interesting facts about language and ways to promote its development in your child, meet other local families and enjoy some delicious free tea and coffee from Bakehouse CHQ, as well as some sweet treats. Best of all, you and your little one will spend quality time interacting, learning and having fun together!

Pre-Booking is mandatory for this event as spaces are limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the workshop. Ticket does not include entry to EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum’s main exhibition. However, participants at this event can avail of a 20% discount on tickets to EPIC – simply show a staff member your ticket to avail of the offer.
