About The Imagination Room Kids 2 Day Workshop
Unleash your imagination through the power of creative writing. This 2 day workshop from 10am - 1pm is all about finding your unique voice. Perhaps your story has the craziest characters ever or the plot is completely bonkers. Or perhaps you want to write the next happy ever after story, the choice is completely yours.
Using the senses to help create your characters and sense of place whilst introducing lots of improvisation to unleash your creative mind. Let your imagination go wild as you create your perfect unique story. How this workshop will help encourage creative skills; Creating stories, plays and poems is a wonderful way for your child to find their voice in the world.
Encouraging imaginative skills, building self- esteem and having the best time while unleashing the power of creative writing. Spaces are very limited to allow each child to flourish. Ages 8 - 13.
This workshop is facilitated by Sheila Forsey. Sheila is an Irish Times Best Selling Author.
She writes historical fiction and is published by Poolbeg Press. She is a graduate of creative writing through Maynooth University. She is the tutor for the creative writing module for Gorey Adult Education. She has a strong background in drama and theatre and loves to use this to bring creativity to her workshops.
