The Kennedy family have been farming in Clonmona, Rathcabbin for 70 years. We are actively farming and have first-hand knowledge and experience of working with and caring for animals.

Tearaways Pet Farm & Activity Centre is an all year round attraction with new animals and facilities added as we go

Pet Farm

We have lots of friendly animals to see including our goats, pigs, pony, donkey, alpacas, Llama, emu, sheep, calves, rabbits and our Scottish Highlander.

Indoor Facilities

At Tearaways Pet Farm & Activity Centre we provide indoor and outdoor activities to keep all the family happy and active, whatever the weather. We have a new purpose built 6,000 square foot indoor activity centre with slides, crawling tunnels, ball pits and a separate toddler area.

Tearaways has a coffee shop for you to relax in whilst your kids play and have fun. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the viewing area.

You can purchase various hot and cold food and drinks.

Please bear the following in mind before visiting Tearaways: All children must wear socks in order to use our indoor play structure. Don't forget to bring socks, long trousers and long sleeves if you want to use the slides as all skin must be covered. We sell socks at Tearaways.  For their safety, under 3s are not allowed use any of our indoor mega slides.

Outdoor Facilities

Our outdoor facilities include our Pet Farm, outdoor playground, sports area, sledge run, games area, go-cart track and of course our ever popular barrel train.

We will make every effort to ensure that you have a most enjoyable day out in a safe & friendly environment. Our electronically secure gates will keep the children safe. There is a first aid person on duty at all times.

We love a good party at Tearaways!! We cater for groups of all sizes for birthday parties and school tours. Let us make your occasion a memorable one and there’s no mess for you to clean up!

Party Prices

• Midweek: Tuesday – Friday €13 per child
• Weekend: Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays €15 per child

Includes entry to Tearaways, party meal, drink and party bag!

Birthday Cake is not included. In order to avail of the party package you need to have a minimum of 8 fee paying children. Our party meal offers a choice of Sausages & Chips OR Chicken Nuggets & Chips and Jugs of Cordial. We also have a Parents Platters, and pots of tea/coffee available to keep the adults happy!

There is a loyalty scheme in place at Tearaways. You can pick up your free loyalty card at reception and it entitles your child to every sixth visit free. It is one card per child and cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer.
