An easy walking tour with fantastic knowledge and insight covering a wide range of subjects relevant to St. Kevin, The Monastic City and the Valley of Glendalough.
These include bits of history, folklore, geography, geology, legends and especially placenames and their magic poetic meanings, some of which are quite surprising.
Well recommended for groups or familes. Martin is very helpful so contact to discuss any specific requirements.
This is a gentle walk of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. There are no mountains or hills to climb.
The walk will finish in the historic Glendalough Hotel with a cup of Tea or Coffee
