Join us on Sunday 29th January to celebrate Brigit's Day, Lá Fhéile Bríde, with an afternoon of Brigit-related traditions and activities for all ages.
Make a Brigit's Cross in the Hazel Room to bring home, with rushes and instructions provided. Don't worry if you have not made a Brigit's cross before, it is not difficult! If the weather is fine, you could even cut your own rushes.
In the Roundhouse, enjoy stories about Brigit and make delightful paper snowdrops. The children can also take part in Brigit's Quiz Trail around the Celtic Gardens. The afternoon will finish with a Brigit's Cloak ritual, in the Imbolc garden if fine or the Hazel Room if wet.
The Garden Café will be open with delicious lunches, teas and hot drinks for all the family.
