Bare Festival
Bare 18 takes place in Borris House in Carlow, the ancestral home of the High Kings of Leinster. The ancestral home of the McMorrough Kavanaghs, High Kings of Leinster, Borris is one of the few Irish estates that can trace its history back to the royal families of ancient Ireland. Set in over six hundred and fifty acres of walled private park and woodlands, Borris House retains its place as the centrepiece of the locality. The Festival has grown from a small, local event with festival goers from the surrounding area to a large scale event with fans from the whole country and abroad. On the 6th & 7th of July BARE 18 will take place at Borris House, Co.Carlow. We think that our BARE friends will agree that Borris House is one of the most beautiful Irish country houses which is located in the most spectacular scenery Ireland has to offer.
