Medieval Combat Returns to Bunratty Castle
Bunratty Castle and Folk Park will echo with the clash of swords and the roar of the crowd on Sunday, 18th May, as knights from across Ireland return for a day of full-contact medieval combat.
Visitors can cheer on the Knights of Munster, the Fragarach Fighters from Dublin and the Black and Back 1316 team of Athenry as they battle it out in one-on-one duels and group melees. The event promises plenty of excitement, with fierce rivalries and dramatic showdowns throughout the day.
The medieval camp will also be open to the public, offering a glimpse into life in the Middle Ages and a chance to support your chosen champion with a token of favour.
Combat sessions will take place from 11am to 1.30pm and again from 2.30pm to 5pm.
