Europe’s biggest BBQ and food festival returns to Herbert Park, Dublin from 13th to 16th August 2026, bringing together some of Ireland’s and the world’s best chefs, pitmasters and restaurants for four days dedicated to cooking over live fire. From slow-smoked barbecue and grilled seafood to international street food and artisan produce, it’s a celebration of flavour in one of Dublin’s most popular summer settings.
Visitors can watch live cooking demonstrations, taste dishes from leading barbecue restaurants, sample craft beers, wines and cocktails, and enjoy a packed programme of live music throughout the weekend. There are also eating challenges, tasting sessions and plenty of opportunities to learn new barbecue techniques from expert chefs.
Families are well catered for with the popular Little Grillers area featuring children’s cooking demonstrations, arts and crafts, puppet theatre, circus skills, face painting, fairy magic, sensory play, music workshops, campfire treats and hands-on activities. Whether visiting for the food, the entertainment or a relaxed day in Herbert Park, Big Grill remains one of Dublin’s standout summer festivals.
