Easter Egg Hunt
Brigit's Garden, Galway | April 19th, 20th & 21st

Brigit’s Garden is set to welcome families for a fun-filled Easter weekend with its popular Easter Egg Hunt. Taking place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 12pm to 4pm, children of all ages can take part in the seasonal adventure. Younger ones can enjoy a Mini Hunt, while older children can take on the Mighty Hunt, following egg clues around the gardens to solve a festive puzzle and claim a chocolate treat.

Alongside the egg hunt, there will be plenty of activities to keep little ones entertained, including arts and crafts, face painting, egg-fishing in the fountain and a range of fun games in the marquee. The Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance, adding to the excitement of a lively spring day out.

Eggsplore! | Easter at Causey
Causey Farm, Meath | April 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th & 21st

A fun-filled family Easter event with egg hunts, farm animals, interactive activities and plenty of craic. Watch Professor Omelette and his assistant Eggbert perform their eggciting eggsperiments before meeting the Easter Bunny for a photo. Hop aboard the Safari Train to see lambs and calves up close or burrow through the mineshaft tunnels to count how many rabbits are hiding inside.

Test your aim at Crack an Egg in the Coop, build giant domino runs with Humpty Dumpty and put your adventure skills to the test on the Easter Quest. Little artists can create their own Easter masterpiece with Bunny Brushstrokes, while energetic visitors can take on the Eggsercise Gym with Bouncy and Stretchy. Find the dragon eggs hidden in the laurel maze, race to collect three different coloured eggs from the haystacks and hook a duck before sending it sliding back into the pond. Children can choose between a chocolate egg, a slime-filled dino egg or an egg-shaped rugby ball to take home.

Clonfert Farm’s Annual Easter Festival returns, bringing a week of family-friendly fun and festive activities. Little adventurers can set off on an exciting Easter treasure hunt, explore the farm and enjoy the thrills of the Fun Fair, with rides, games and Easter surprises creating a magical atmosphere for all ages.

Families can choose from three daily timeslots: 10am – 12.30pm, 1pm – 3.30pm, or 4pm – 6.30pm. An all-inclusive child ticket (€19.95) covers farm admission, unlimited fun fair rides, the Easter treasure hunt with an egg and access to all Easter activities (excluding golf and face painting). Standard entry tickets are also available, giving access to the farm and Easter activities, with fun fair rides and Easter eggs available separately.

Teidi Tours
Croke Park, Dublin | April 18th, 23rd, 24th & 25th

Families can enjoy a unique day out at Croke Park with Teidí Tours, a special experience that combines a guided tour of the stadium with a hands-on teidí-making workshop. Running on selected dates this Easter, this interactive event lets children create their own cuddly companion before setting off on an exciting behind-the-scenes tour.

The adventure begins in Cú Chulainn’s Den, where little ones can choose, stuff and personalise their teidí, complete with a heart, name and ‘bear-th’ certificate. Dressed in a mini GAA Museum training kit, their new fluffy friend is ready to explore. Led by a tour guide, families will visit the dressing rooms, walk pitchside and capture unforgettable moments with their teidí at the iconic stadium. The experience also includes access to the GAA Museum, where young visitors can follow the Junior Explorer trail and discover more about Ireland’s sporting heritage. The Easter Egg & Fun, Family Fun Event
Navan Adventure Centre | April 19th & 20th

The Navan Adventure Centre will host a family-friendly event on April 19th and 20th, offering a range of outdoor activities for children aged 3 to 12. The event, which lasts for over three hours, features seven different attractions designed to entertain visitors of all ages.

Among the activities on offer are an Easter Egg Hunt, inflatable obstacle courses, bubble making, mini golf, target shooting, a barrel train ride around the Centre’s fields, and pedal boats on an inflatable pond. There will also be face painting and carousel rides available for an extra fee.

The event provides a fun and varied day out for families, with plenty to keep children entertained. With food vendors on-site, visitors can also enjoy a range of refreshments throughout the day.

Easter Dino Days
The Ark Open Farm, Newtownards | April 12th-25th

The Ark Farm will be hosting a fun-filled Easter event this year, offering a wide range of activities for families to enjoy. From April 7th, visitors can meet the Easter Bunny in the beautiful Easter Garden, hunt for colourful eggs, and capture some great photos. A highlight of the event is the chance to meet a walking, roaring T-Rex and Velociraptor, as well as take part in a dino egg hunt in the forest, where each child will receive a Cadbury Easter egg.

In addition, guests can explore the farm’s new attractions, including a brand-new, bespoke playpark designed for endless adventure. There’s also a chance to cuddle baby chicks, meet rabbits, bottle-feed lambs, and watch the sheep in the lambing shed—perhaps even witnessing a lamb being born. Other activities include decorating eggs, jumping in the dig pit to uncover fossils, and enjoying tractor and quad barrel rides.

Egg-Citing Donkey Easter Egg Hunt

Join the Easter Bunny for a day of festive fun in the Wicklow Hills as he searches for his missing Easter eggs and crunchy carrots. After a tumble with his basket, the colourful eggs and tasty treats for his donkey pals are scattered across the farm and now he needs some help to gather them all!

Set off on an exciting scavenger hunt through the fields, following the clues to find hidden Easter surprises. With plenty of space to explore, fresh air and friendly animals to meet, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season. As a reward for helping the Easter Bunny, there’s a delicious chocolate egg to enjoy, along with the chance to feed the donkeys using the special Easter Feeder Carrot Cruncher.
